Romanian integrated communications boutique Confident Communications and Romanian photographer Dragos Constantin launched the project Beyond PR, the first community of professional and innovative providers for the marcomm departments.
Beyond PR is a video platform for practitioners of marketing, communication, branding and advertising from agencies and companies and aims to be, for them, an inspiration source when looking for partners and providers for campaigns, events and co-branded projects.
“The purpose of the project is to offer innovative ideas to marcomm agencies and practitioners from companies, to guarantee the promoted providers and, more than anything, to create a community of creative and professional people. We want, in the same time, to promote on this platform people and brands that manage to have a different vision on a certain domain of activity, people that aren’t into communication, but are omni-present in any agency’s life” – Mara Gojgar, Managing Director, Confident Communications
The main criteria to select the providers within the program are innovation and creativity, professionalism, passion and capability to implement projects, the mission of the business and the purpose of its creator and offering niche products and services.
“The initial investment was minimal, consisting in tools from my studio. We wanted it to be a video project in order to highlight even more the people behind products and brands they represent, and here is where the name Beyond PR came from. For the moment, the platform is video and photo (on Facebook) and we will develop it offline also, this autumn. It isn’t a channel to run volumes, we make 4-6 interviews a month, it is more a boutique of creative ideas.”- Dragos Constantin, Photographer
